Becoming a member of Sojourn is a commitment to the work of the gospel and the common good of the Sojourn family. We are one body, and in a healthy body, every member must function (Romans 12:4). Members also benefit from primary care from church leadership, as the Bible prescribes (Galatians 6:10).
Here is how to become a member of Sojourn:
COME. Learn what we believe and the expectations of membership (time, talents, resources) by attending one of our quarterly membership classes. You’ll explore membership for two hours on a Friday night, and six hours that Saturday. We’ll meet 6:30-8:30 Friday evening, then 9am to 3pm Saturday.
COMMIT. Fill out a Membership Application and your Personal Renewal Plan. You’ll need to bring these things with you for your final member interview with a Sojourn leader. Also, make sure to read the Church Constitution and Member Covenant before your interview.
CONVERSATION. Meet with a Sojourn leader to finalize your membership. After taking the Membership Class, you can sign up to for your Member Interview at this link. Just:
